Guide to getting CPF, IRAS and HDB documents

When processing your home loan in Singapore, there's a list of documents that your bankers will require, depending on your situation. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to obtain documents from CPF, IRAS and HDB in the comfort of your own home!

How to see your CPF Ordinary Account Statement

Step 1: Go to the CPF website at cpf.gov.sg and click Login at the top menu to login with SingPass

Step 2: Click on My Statement on the menu bar on the left

That's it, you can now see your total funds in your CPF Ordinary Account (OA), your CPF Special Account (SA) and your MediSave Account (MA).

When you scroll down to section B, you can produce 4 types of CPF Statements - your transaction history, your contribution history, yearly statement of account and the Retirement Sum Topping Up (RSTU) Scheme yearly statement.

How to get your CPF Contribution History

Step 1: Go to the CPF website at cpf.gov.sg and click Login at the top menu to login with SingPass

Step 2: Click on My Statement on the menu bar on the left

Step 3. Go to Section B, click on Contribution History, choose the Date Range for the past 15 months, and click View

Step 4. Click on PDF to save your contribution history as a PDF file

Your CPF contribution history is crucial in determining your income for both HDB loans and bank loans. This is the most important income document for homeowners who are full-time or part-time employees.

How to get your CPF Property Withdrawal Details

Your CPF Property Withdrawal Details are also known as CPF Property Withdrawal Statement and is a reqired document for all refinancing enquiries.

Step 1: Go to the CPF website at cpf.gov.sg and click Login at the top menu to login with SingPass

Step 2: Click on My Statement on the menu bar on the left

Step 3. Go to Section C, click on Property

Step 4. Click My Public Housing Withdrawal Details or My Private Housing Withdrawal Details (depending on your property type)

Step 5. Click the Printer icon in the top right hand corner

Step 6. And choose Save as PDF for the printer (what you see may vary depending on your printer model) followed by Save at the bottom

Do note that banks will need you to produce the CPF Property Withdrawal Statement even though you have never used your CPF savings to pay for your property.

How to get your IRAS Notice of Assessment

Step 1. Go to the IRAS website at iras.gov.sg and click Login and Login to myTax Portal at the top menu

Step 3. Click Notices/Letters in the top menu and then click Individual

Step 4. Click Notice of Assessment (Individual) 2020 and download the document as a PDF

As with the CPF Contribution History, the IRAS Notice of Assessment is a way for HDB and banks to determine your average gross monthly income and how much you can borrow. This is especially important for homeowners who are self-employed or work odd jobs.

How to get your IRAS Property Portfolio page for Owner Occupation

Step 1. Go to the IRAS website at iras.gov.sg and click Login and Login to myTax Portal at the top menu

Step 3. Click Property in the top menu and select View Property Dashboard

How to get your IRAS Account Summary Page

Step 1. Go to the IRAS website at iras.gov.sg and click Login and Login to myTax Portal at the top menu

How to get your HDB Flat Details Page

Step 1. Go to the HDB website at hdb.gov.sg and click Login and Login to My HDBPage from the top menu

How to get your HDB Financial Information Page

Step 1. Go to the HDB website at hdb.gov.sg and click Login and Login to My HDBPage from the top menu

How to get your HDB Loan Statement of Account

If you are still on an HDB loan, here's how to get your Statement of Account.

Step 1. Go to the HDB website at hdb.gov.sg and click Login and Login to My HDBPage from the top menu

Step 2. Click My Flat and Purchased Flat in the menu on your left

Step 3. Click Financial Info

Click on Financial Info

Step 4. Click Save as PDF at the bottom of the screen to save the information as a PDF document, then click Statement of Account to download your 12-month transaction history.
